ABOUT US
We are a limited admittance shelter dedicated to providing safe haven, compassionate care, and a second chance to companion animals in need. As a limited admittance facility, we prioritize the health and well-being of every animal we take in, ensuring we do not exceed our capacity to provide quality care.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets into loving, permanent homes, while promoting responsible pet ownership and community education. Each animal in our care receives individualized attention, veterinary care, and the time they need to find the right match.
We believe every animal deserves a chance at a better life - and we’re here to make that happen, one paw at a time.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donations are tax deductible.

The WCAS is a limited admittance shelter.
The WCAS never euthanizes due to space limitations. Very few animals are euthanized and it would be due to severe aggression issues or medical conditions that affect the quality of life. Decisions regarding euthanasia are made with the assistance of and performed by a licensed veterinarian.
Due to being a limited admittance shelter, there will be times when we cannot accept new animals because of our limited space.
